FEATURES: Durable multi-purpose plastic knob, suitable for many applications. Choice of three materials: (1) phenolic plastic, our most popular, with a hard smooth shiny finish; (2) thermoplastic, with a textured non-slip, non-glare finish; (3) cushion-grip plastic, a unique material that feels soft to the touch, comfortable yet rugged. All material types have a molded-in brass insert that provides superior thread strength. Made in USA.
SIZES: Choice of seven knob sizes in phenolic plastic, one size in thermoplastic, and one size in cushion-grip plastic. Available with tapped-hole sizes from #8-32 to 5/8-18 (M5 to M16 in metric) — see Dimensions page for part numbers, and Size Comparison page for a group photo of all sizes. Non-standard thread sizes, molded-in studs, or special colors are available in quantities of 250 and above.
MATERIAL (PHENOLIC): Black phenolic plastic (glossy smooth finish, extremely hard, electrical insulator, operating temperatures to 300°F, resistant to oils and most common chemicals). Molded-in brass insert.
MATERIAL (THERMOPLASTIC): Black thermoplastic (textured surface for secure gripping, excellent impact resistance, operating temperatures to 150°F). Molded-in brass insert.
MATERIAL (CUSHION GRIP): Black cushion-grip plastic (soft touch, matte finish, rugged, excellent impact resistance, operating temperatures to 150°F, excellent gripability even when wet or oily, absorbs vibration). Molded-in brass insert. |
